LEWISTON, Idaho – Southern Oregon's
Ricky Reisner got off to a promising start Monday in the Cascade Conference Golf Championship, ending the first of three rounds tied for fifth place at the Lewiston Golf & Country Club.
Reisner, a senior from Sunland, Calif., birdied five times to card an even-par round of 72.
Oliver Ausland was in 19th place at 3-over and
Ty Beyer was tied for 25th at 5-over for the Raider men, who completed the afternoon in eighth as a team with a collective score of 20-over.

Keira Cheng and
Alexa Ibarraran ended the first round tied for 19th at 10-over, helping the Raider women to fifth place of eight teams at 43-over.
Abby Francis (+11) and
Mya Oakes (+12) weren't far behind.
In the team races, Lewis-Clark State's men led the way at even-par while the British Columbia and Oregon Tech women were knotted atop the women's standings at 17-over. Individually, LC State's Adam Lovatt topped the men's leaderboard at 3-under and Oregon Tech's Baylee Hodgman had a two-stroke lead on the women's side at 1-over.
Tuesday's second round begins at 8:30 a.m.
The team winners will get automatic NAIA Championship bids. All-conference honors will go to those with top-10 stroke averages across the four CCC tournaments in 2025-26. Entering the week, Cheng was seventh (78.2) and
Mia Bontrager 17th (81.5) in women's stroke average. Reisner was 14th (73.9) and
Oliver Ausland 20th (74.9) for the men.
