LEWISTON, Idaho – The Southern Oregon golf teams both moved up a spot in the standings during Round 2 of the Cascade Conference Championship presented by U.S. Bank on Tuesday.

The Raider women will enter Wednesday's final round in fourth place and the men in seventh after trimming strokes on their second trips around Lewiston Golf & Country Club.

Sophomore Mya Oakes was the primary catalyst for the women, carding a 1-over 73 in her second round after shooting an 84 in the first. Now standing at 13-over, she moved nine spots up into a tie for 14th place to lead SOU. After starting her day with a bogey, Oakes birdied four times over her next five holes.

Keira Cheng (+20) is tied for 20th place and Abby Francis (+23) is 23rd – they totaled 82 and 84 strokes, respectively – while Mia Montrager (+26) is tied for 24th after showing a 10-stroke improvement.

Ricky Reisner continued to lead the Raider men, shooting 1-over in the second round following an even-par first. The senior – aiming for his second top-10 CCC finish of the season – is tied for seventh place, while Oliver Ausland (+5) is tied for 18th and Ty Beyer (+9) tied for 25th.

No. 5-ranked British Columbia has a 17-stroke advantage in the women's team race behind co-leaders Keira Hou and Grace Yao, who are both 4-over. Lewis-Clark State owns a six-stroke lead on the men's side (-4) and has a co-leader in Adam Lovatt (-3), who is tied with Bushnell's Matt Forsyth.

Wednesday's final round begins at 8 a.m.
