KLAMATH FALLS – Due to rain in the forecast, Southern Oregon's marquee Cascade Conference softball series at Oregon Tech, originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, will be played on Friday and Tuesday.

Friday's game times of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. remain unchanged. Tuesday's first pitches are also scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The No. 5-ranked Raiders, winners of nine straight, will enter the four-game set at 29-9 overall and 10-5 in the CCC. The first-place Owls took over the No. 1 spot in the NAIA Top 25 coaches' poll last week, standing at 34-4 overall and 16-2 in conference play.

Only No. 4-ranked Eastern Oregon (29-5, 12-3) separates OIT and SOU in the standings. After playing the Raiders, EOU is the only team left on the Owls' regular-season schedule.
