COLUMBUS, Ga.
– The latest hope for Southern Oregon's second NAIA Softball World Series game is a 10 a.m. PT first pitch on Monday against Southeastern (Fla.) at the South Commons Complex, the national office announced.

Continued thunderstorms and another round of postponements on Sunday led to the release of an ambitious Monday slate, which for now includes five games starting at 8 a.m. PT. Of the 12 games that were scheduled to be played by this point in the tournament, nine have been completed.

If the Raiders win, they'll play on Tuesday at a time yet to be determined against Madonna (Mich.) or Mobile (Ala.) for a spot in Wednesday's final round. If they lose, they'll play their first elimination game at 2 p.m. Monday against Indiana Wesleyan.

The original schedule had the No. 3-seeded Raiders playing their second game on Saturday after they defeated Cumberlands (Ky.), 4-2, in their tournament opener on Thursday. That was before Southeastern's first game was pushed to Saturday and three of four games were rained out on Sunday, which was originally a designated off day.

The SOU-Southeastern matchup will start at 1 p.m. local time in Columbus. The current forecast has thunderstorms likely arriving shortly after and rain sticking around late into the night.
