The Southern Oregon women's tennis team improved to 3-2 on the season with a 9-0 shutout of Mills College today in the Bay Area.

The Raiders take on Sierra College tomorrow in an exhibition match before facing Vanguard Monday.

"The girls all played and played along with our game plan which was not to beat ourselves," SOU head coach Ari Zaslow said.

SOU's three doubles teams opened up the day with identical 8-2 victories to take a 3-0 lead.

In singles play, Allison Bostrom (Corvallis, Ore./Crescent Valley) and Lexi Thomas (Redding, Calif./Shasta) both won 6-0, 6-2 in the top two singles matches.
