SOU Raiderette Dance Team Auditions info (PDF)

ASHLAND – The SOU Raiderette Dance Team is holding team auditions and pre-audition clinics in the coming weeks in preparation for the 2017-18 season.

The pre-audition clinics will be offered from 3-4:30 p.m. the next two Saturdays, May 20 and 27, inside the Pilates Fitness Studio at The Shoppes at Exit 24 – 205 N. Phoenix Rd. in Phoenix. Cost to participate is $15 per session. The clinics are non-mandatory for aspiring team members but will be useful for learning necessary skills at the tryout.

The audition itself is scheduled for 6 p.m. on June 16. Those interested should email the team's new coach, Sarah Fultz, at fultzs@sou.edu. Fultz will email back a registration packet, which must be completed and returned along with a $30 audition fee by June 1.

Preferred (but not required) skills include Fouetté turns, double/triple pirouettes, and kicks and leaps. The team will perform at home basketball, football games and pep rallies and practice twice weekly.
