ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon University men's soccer team will play its first home game of the season, and its first non-conference home game in two years, at 11 a.m. Saturday against William Jessup (Calif.).

SOU originally had the game scheduled for a 2 p.m. kickoff at Raider Stadium. The teams agreed to move kickoff time on Thursday night.

The Raiders opened their season with two losses last week in California, 1-0 against Menlo and 3-2 in double-overtime against The Master's on a last-second penalty kick. Both games were originally scheduled to be played in Ashland before smoke in the Rogue Valley forced the move.

After this weekend, the Raiders' next home game will be Sept. 14 against No. 17-ranked Rocky Mountain (Mont.), the team they shared the Cascade Conference regular-season title with a year ago.
