ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon University men's basketball team was named the Cascade Conference's Under Armour Team of the Week while Tate Hoffman and Dominique Harding collected top individual honors, the league office announced Monday.

The 15th-ranked Raider men went to 15-4 overall and 9-2 in the circuit after sweeping their homestand, which started with a 77-76 upset of No. 5 Oregon Tech before defeats of Corban (101-73) and Northwest Christian (77-74).

Hoffman, a senior forward from West Linn, was voted the CCC's Red Lion Player of the Week with averages of 19.3 points and 5.7 rebounds. He secured SOU's win against OIT with a block at the rim as the buzzer sounded, then went for 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting against Corban and 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting with 10 rebounds against NCU – marking his third 20-10 outing in CCC play.

In conference action, Hoffman ranks fifth in points (18.8), fourth in field-goal percentage (51.8) and 10th in rebounds (6.3) per game.

Harding took the CCC's weekly women's basketball award by coming up big in both wins for the Raiders, who stand in second place at 12-6 overall and 8-3 in the conference. She poured in team-highs of 19 points, six rebounds and five assists in a 61-56 win over OIT, then scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting in a 76-74 upset of No. 22 NCU – hitting the game-tying 3-point with two minutes left and the game-winning bucket with 1.7 seconds on the clock.

On the CCC leaderboard, the sophomore from Reno, Nev., is fifth in points (14.2), fourth in field-goal percentage (48.5), eight in steals (1.9) and 10th in rebounds (5.8) – making her the conference's only player in the top-10 of each of those categories.

Both Raider teams are back on the road this week, playing Friday at College of Idaho and Saturday at Eastern Oregon.
