ASHLAND – Despite the absence of any golf in the 30th edition of the Lithia/Raider Club Golf Shootout, sponsors still stepped up to bring in over $380,000 in scholarship money for Southern Oregon University student-athletes.

Altered by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the annual event featured a virtual town hall meeting in lieu of the traditional golf tournament. Even so, the generosity of 41 sponsors made it another success for Raider athletics.

This year's major sponsors included Lithia Auto Stores, The Partners Group, CarFax, Axalta, Wells Fargo, Edmunds.com, US Bank, PermaPlate, American Credit Acceptance, Genova Burns, Cars.com, JP Morgan Chase, Chrysler Capital, CDK, MaxDigital, Assurant, Autopoint, ExxonMobil, Ally, TD Auto Finance and Northwest BG.

Since 2007, the Lithia/Raider Club Golf Shootout has brought in over $4,000,000 to scholarships for SOU student-athletes.
