ASHLAND – Bushnell has forfeited its upcoming men's soccer game at Southern Oregon, originally scheduled for Oct. 22, due to COVID-19 issues within the Beacons program that triggered a mandatory two-week shutdown.

Per new Cascade Conference legislation passed Monday, the Raiders will be awarded a forfeit victory on the day the game was scheduled to be played as long as COVID-19 issues don't force them to shut down before then.

After last weekend's wins at College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon, the Raiders stand at 11-2 overall and 7-2 in the CCC.

The game will not be made up, though the Raiders and Beacons women's teams will still match up at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
