KLAMATH FALLS – Nathaniel Frink carded Southern Oregon's best round yet, a 3-under-par 69, in the opening round of Oregon Tech's Run-In At The Ranch on Sunday at Running Y Ranch Resort.

Frink, who at one point stood at 5-under, sits in third place on the 27-person men's leaderboard through 18 of 54 holes at the tournament. SOU's Haley Brown is third of 16 on the women's side after shooting 4-over in the first round, which was the best yet for a Raider women's golfer. Carley Streitler is 11th at 16-over.

The Raider men are fourth in the team standings as their top-four combined for 306 strokes. Matt Forsyth is 5-over in 12th place, while Ricky Reisner and Dylan Ivens are tied for 20th at 8-over.

The teams will play 18 holes on Monday and 18 more on Tuesday.
