Emily Se have been named Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Athletes of the Week.
Mundu, a senior guard from Fremont, Calif., averaged 21.5 points over the Raiders' two games last week at the Flagship Inn Classic. In Thursday's 94-88 upset of No. 6-ranked William Jessup (Calif.), he went for a career-high 32 points while shooting 9-of-11 shooting from the field, 5-of-6 from 3-point range and 9-of-10 at the free throw line. Two nights later against Huntington (Ind.), he went 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Se, a senior and reigning NAIA All-American from Sacramento, shined in No. 2-ranked SOU's debut outing Sunday at the Mike Clock Open. In the 143-pound bracket, she pinned all four of her opponents in the first round. She capped her run by finishing off Eastern Oregon's Liv Wieber in 27 seconds for the title.
