COMPLETE MEET RESULTS

CORVALLIS – Southern Oregon's relay teams and thrower Andrew Mitchell dazzled during Day 2 of the Oregon State High Performance Meet on Saturday at the Whyte Track and Field Center.

The Raider women's 4x100 and 4x400 teams both triumphed among NCAA Division I competition in 'A'-standard fashion, the former with the third-fastest time in school history. The men's 4x400 team collected another win, while Mitchell landed at No. 4 on SOU's all-time javelin list.

Aayzia Dumas, Camille Lawrence, Baylee Touey and Lindsey Bonney completed the 4x100 in 47.01 seconds, which put the Raiders at No. 7 on the NAIA performance list. Erin Gibson took Bonney's spot on the 4x400 team, which finished in 3:54.42, just four seconds off the team's previous NAIA Championships automatic-qualifying time. The men's 4x400 team of Cade O'Connor, AJ Sandvig, Damian Williams and Shane McLaughlin won in 3:22.39.

Mitchell became an automatic qualifier in the javelin with a throw of 188 feet 4 inches – 6-9 better than his previous PR, which had him in the 'B' category. His new mark put him at No. 17 on the NAIA list and placed him eighth of 20 at the meet.

The Raider sprinters excelled individually, too. Bonney was sixth of 27 in the 100 in 12.22 seconds, while Camille Lawrence was the runner-up in a 22-person 400 competition with a time of 57.44. Dumas was just behind her in fourth place, setting a new PR of 57.98.

Gibson added a PR in the 800 of 2:18.05 to place 20th of 57, and Sarah Mauk was 24th in 2:18.64. Damian Williams took eighth of 26 in the men's 400 (50.58), and AJ Sandvig was 16th of 71 in the 800 (1:54.70).
