CARSON, Wash. – All three Southern Oregon women's golfers trimmed strokes off of their scores in the second round and the Raider men finished eighth in the team standings as the Multnomah Invite concluded on Tuesday at Elk Ridge Golf Course.

Sophomore Nathaniel Frink led SOU for the third consecutive tournament, moving up eight spots in Round 3 on the 52-person leaderboard to 15th at 10-over-par. Frink's 2-over final round on the par-71 course included three birdies on an even front-nine.

Haley Brown, a junior making her Raider debut, carded an 80 in the second and final women's round to finish at 20-over on the tournament in 12th place. On the back-nine, she recorded a birdie and four pars. Bryn Lawson's 85 marked a six-stroke improvement – she finished in 24th place at 34-over – and Carley Streitler was four strokes better in the second round than the first with a 90 to finish 42-over.

SOU's women didn't have enough individuals competing to post a team score, but the men were eighth of nine in the standings by combining to shoot 65-over.

Matt Forsyth landed in 20th place at 13-over, shooting 4-over in the final round, and Ricky Reisner finished one stroke behind him with an 80. Dylan Ivens was 32-over, Cruz Kilborn 44-over, and Preston Brandt 41-over.

British Columbia's JP Kahlhert was the men's medalist at 4-under, and UBC's Grace Bell was even in both rounds to take the women's honor.

The Raiders compete next at Oregon Tech's Run-In at the Ranch, set for Oct. 9-11 at Running Y Ranch Resort in Klamath Falls.
