ASHLAND – Southern Oregon's Brian Batres, Caitlyn Davis, Hannah Stadstad and Tessa Zimmerman have been named conference athletes of the week after big road performances for the Raiders.

Batres earned the Frontier Conference's Erck Hotels Football Special Teams Player of the Week award for his part in SOU's 41-24 win at Eastern Oregon. He made both of his field-goal attempts, from 42 and 35 yards out, and was perfect on five extra-point tries. On the season, the sophomore is 8-of-9 on field goals with a long of 48.

Davis was the Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Women's Wrestler of the Week after winning the 155-pound title at the Menlo Open in her SOU debut. Ranked No. 3 in her weight class, she knocked off top-ranked Latifah McBryde of Life (Ga.), 3-1, in the bracket final. Before that decision, she won three straight matches by technical fall.

Stadstad and Zimmerman were the CCC's volleyball attacker and defensive player of the week respectively. They led the No. 16-ranked Raiders to a five-set win at Corban and a four-set win at Bushnell to end the regular season, results that brought the team's winning streak to 10 matches and its record to 25-5. Stadstad went for 16 kills on an even .500 attacking average at Corban, then dropped in a match-high 19 against the Beacons. Zimmerman totaled six blocks in both matches, averaging two per set on the weekend.
