CRESWELL – Southern Oregon freshman Ricky Reisner turned in the best 18-hole performance of any Raider at the Cascade Conference Golf Championships presented by U.S. Bank, jumping 13 spots on the leaderboard Wednesday to finish as the team's top placer in the three-day tournament at Emerald Valley Golf Club.

Reisner, a product of Sunland, Calif., shot a 2-over 73 in the third round and ended up 18-over for the week in a five-way tie for 13th place. Only six golfers scored better in the final round than Reisner, who led the Raiders to seventh of nine teams in the men's standings during their first tourney appearance.

Haley Brown's 17th-place finish led the Raider women, who placed fifth of six teams in the standings. She shot 13-over in Round 3 and was 43-over for the tournament.

British Columbia captured both team titles, edging Bushnell by one stroke on the men's side and Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) by 13 on the women's side. Bushnell's Caden Stubbs was the men's medalist at 3-under and UBC's Sonja Tang won the women's championship at 1-under.

Reisner finished up playing his best golf of the season, shooting 3-over on the front-nine before going 1-under on the back. Nathaniel Frink carded a 79 for the second day in a row to finish tied for 24th place at 21-over, Matt Forsyth (+22) took 27th, and Preston Brandt (+31) was SOU's final scorer in a tie for 36th.

Behind Brown on the women's leaderboard, Bryn Lawson (+61), Carley Streitler (+65) and Thyra Altvatter (+68) occupied the 22nd-through-24th spots in the standings. Brown was responsible for the team's three best rounds of the week.
