BREMERTON, Wash. – Riley Kirk stayed on an All-Cascade Conference track as Southern Oregon finished tied for fourth in the men's and fifth in the women's team standings on Tuesday at the UBC/Gail Moore Invitational.

Kirk, a first-year Raider from Kelso, Wash., was 1-under for the tournament and tied for fifth out of 66 men's golfers after carding a 1-over 73 in the third round at Gold Mountain Golf Club. It was his third top-10 finish in as many outings, and second in a row of the top-five variety. In SOU's only other CCC-counting tourney, the Bushnell Fall Invitational, he tied for 10th.

The Raider men were 32-over as a team, totaling 302 strokes in the final round, to match Lewis-Clark State (Idaho). The only CCC team they finished behind was champion British Columbia (-23), which also produced the individual medalist in Dylan Macdonald (-8).

Ethan Miller (+8) tied for 18th, Ty Beyer (+11) tied for 25th, and Oliver Ausland (+21) and Ricky Reisner (+21) tied for 4th. Ausland and Miller both shot 3-over in the third round.

Keira Cheng (+5), Haley Brown (+13) and Mia Bontrager (+14) led SOU's women, tying for 11th, 18th and 21st place, respectively. Cheng, an all-conference sophomore, followed her first-round 74 with a 75 in the second, finishing one stroke outside of a top-seven spot.

The Raiders were fifth overall but fourth among CCC teams with a final score of 53-over. UBC won the tourney at 2-under and had two of the three individual co-champions in Bo Brown and Jessica Ng, who along with Oregon Tech's Quincy Beyrouty were 2-under.
