MEN'S LEADERBOARD | WOMEN'S LEADERBOARD

SEASIDE, Calif. – The Southern Oregon men's and women's golf teams both turned in second-place finishes at the Menlo Invitational, the second rounds of which concluded Tuesday at Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course.

The Raider women had three individuals among the top-eight on a 33-person leaderboard: fourth-place Haley Brown at 21-over, seventh-place Mia Bontrager at 24-over and eighth-place Keira Cheng at 26-over. Bontrager shot their low round of the tournament, a 75 on Monday.

SOU was 99-over as a team, 28 strokes behind Hope International (Calif.) but 20 ahead of third-place The Master's (Calif.).

Riley Kirk led the Raider men for the fourth time in as many tournaments, taking seventh place out of 44 at 7-over. He carded a 75 in Round 1, a 76 in Round 2, and has yet to finish outside of a top-10 this fall.

Mason Labow and Ricky Reisner tied for 10th place at 10-over. Labow shot a 1-over 73 to shoot up the standings in the second round. Reisner was a co-leader after an even first.

The Raider men went 36-over as a team, finishing behind only No. 17-ranked The Master's (+20).

The fall portion of their schedule ends next week when they travel for Buckeye, Ariz., for Arizona Christian's Firestorm Fall Invitational.
