ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon soccer teams swept the McDonald's Cascade Conference Offensive Player of the Week awards, presented by Urban Edge Network, with Irwin Leon and Abby McKean garnering recognition on Monday.

Leon got his second men's nod of the season for his performance in Saturday's 4-1 win against Providence (Mont.). The graduate transfer from Moreno Valley, Calif., notched the game-winning goal and assisted two others, boosting his season totals to nine goals and three assists.

Leon has 10 goal involvements in SOU's last seven games. In CCC play, he is tied for the circuit lead with six goals.

McKean tied a 22-year-old SOU women's record with five goals in a 10-0 win against the Argos. She scored three of those within a 15-minute span during the second half and only needed seven total shots to leave her mark. The junior from Hanford, Calif., entered the contest with two goals on the season.

The second-place Raider women (8-1-1 overall, 5-0-1 CCC) have their biggest game to date Friday at No. 5-ranked College of Idaho (10-1-0, 7-0-0), which has won 32 consecutive conference games dating back to 2022.

The Raider men (9-2-1, 4-2-0) enter the trip in third place and will get a shot at first-place Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
