NAIA INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS | CCC INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS
ASHLAND – At No. 10 in the final NAIA Top 25 poll, the Southern Oregon men's wrestling team has its highest ranking entering any postseason since the 2017-18 campaign.
The Raiders have eight nationally-ranked individuals, including three who are top-10 in their respective weight classes: No. 3
Evan Potter (141 pounds), No. 4
Aaron Gandara (157) and No. 8
Asher Ruchti (197).
Three Raiders moved up since Jan. 30, when the last poll was released:
Adrian Chavez-Morales (184) two spots to No. 11,
Simon Graeber (133) one spot to No. 18, and
Dylan Straley (157) one spot to No. 13.
Grand View (Iowa) continues to top the poll with top-ranked wrestlers in five of 10 weight classes.
SOU completed the regular season last week with a dual win against Eastern Oregon, improving to 19-3 and breaking the program's single-season record for dual victories.
The Raiders will be in Redding, Calif., for the Cascade Conference Championships on Feb. 21-22. Five other Top 25 squads – No. 5 Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), No. 6 Providence (Mont.), No. 13 Montana State-Northern, No. 14 Corban and No. 19 Eastern Oregon – will also be in attendance.
