BANDON – The Southern Oregon men's golf team pushed Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) to a playoff for the championship before leaving the Bandon Match Play exhibition with second place this week at Bandon Crossings Golf Course.

The Raiders took all four matches from Southwestern Oregon C.C. in Sunday's quarterfinals before winning three against Corban and splitting the other in Monday's semis.

In Tuesday's final against LC State, two of SOU's pairs prevailed: James Bushmaier and Sam Havens, and Mason Labow and Ryder Jacox. One player from all four pairs competed in single-hole stroke play in the playoff.

Bushmaier, Havens, Labow and Jacox finished the tournament unbeaten.

Both the SOU men's and women's teams are back in action March 23-25 at the Simpson Invite.
