MEN'S RESULTS | WOMEN'S RESULTS

KLAMATH FALLS – Southern Oregon junior Keira Cheng finished strong to land at 2-over par and earn medalist honors in a playoff as the second and final round of the Run-In at the Ranch concluded on Tuesday at the Running Y Resort.

The Raider men and women were both third in the team standings at 13-over and 39-over, respectively. Oregon Tech and College of Idaho took first and second on both sides of the tournament.

Cheng, a two-time All-Cascade Conference performer, was tied with College of Idaho's Reece Garey atop the leaderboard after 36 holes and birdied the 37th while Garey bogeyed. She carded 73s in both rounds of the second tournament title of her career, but she rallied with three birdies on the back-nine of the second.

Abby Francis (+16) placed 11th and Mya Oakes (+14) placed 14th out of 42 golfers for the Raider women. They carded matching 79s on Tuesday.

The men's tournament was also a 36-hole affair after Monday's second round was rained out. Ricky Reisner led SOU in fifth place at 1-under, and his 69 on Tuesday matched medalist Carson King of College of Idaho for the week's round. Reisner birdied five times on the day.

The Raiders put three more individuals among the top-12 on the 48-person men's leaderboard: James Bushmiaer (+5), who placed 11th, and Oliver Ausland (+7) and Ryder Jacox (+7), who tied for 12th. Ausland was 1-under in the second round.

Next on the Raiders' schedule is the second of four CCC-counting tournaments, the College of Idaho Invitational on Oct. 13-14.
