ASHLAND – When the Southern Oregon University men's wrestling team goes hunting for a trophy next week at the NAIA Championships, it'll do so with a full roster for the first time since 2012.
The Raiders qualified 11 individuals automatically while winning a second consecutive title at last weekend's Cascade Conference Championships. They added a 12th,
Kolton Malone, when at-large bids were announced late Tuesday.
Ranked No. 6 in the final NAIA poll, the Raiders will be one six teams with the maximum of 12 representatives at the tournament. The others are No. 1 Grand View (Iowa), No. 2 Life (Ga.), No. 3 Southeastern (Fla.), No. 5 Indiana Tech, and No. 7 Cumberlands (Ky.)
Action is scheduled for March 5-7 in Park City, Kan. The Raiders are following up a ninth-place finish at the 2025 NAIA Championships, to which they brought 10 individuals. It was their first top-10 finish since taking fifth in 2017.
