ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon University women's golf team was picked to finish fourth and the men sixth in the Cascade Conference preseason polls submitted by the circuit's head coaches.
The Raiders have five returning golfers from a women's roster that placed fourth in the CCC last season, including three of their top-four scorers. The men have six total returning and four of their top-five scorers from last season's seventh-place squad, in addition to 2024-25 all-conference performer
Mason Labow.
The program's fifth season under head coach
Noah Horstman begins Sept. 7-8 in Klamath Falls with the Run-In at the Ranch, one of four CCC-counting events on the schedule.
British Columbia got the top spot in both polls as the defending regular-season champions, while both Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) teams were picked to finish second. The Raider men received one first-place vote.
