ARCATA, Calif. – The Southern Oregon University men's soccer team tuned up with a 3-2 exhibition victory over Humboldt State (Calif.) on Saturday afternoon, doing all of its scoring before the halfway point at College Creek Field.
Junior attacker
Alan Gaytan scored the Raiders' first goal and assisted
Noah Addie for their second.
Junior Rivas added on to make their lead 3-1 in the 37th minute.
Liam Kalhagen recorded five saves for the Raiders. HSU's goals came from Devin Hauenstein and Nicola Herrera-Land.
SOU plays its first counter of the season on Aug. 28 at The Master's (Calif.). A preview of the team will be published next week.
