ASHLAND – Southern Oregon University men's basketball player Will Graves, men's wrestler Alex Hernandez and women's wrestler Joye Levendusky were voted Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Athletes of the Week on Monday, the CCC office announced.

WILL GRAVES / Men's Basketball Player of the Week: In the Raiders' 111-83 win over Simpson (Calif.) on Tuesday, Graves shot 8-of-9 from the field and hit all four of his 3-point attempts on his way to a season-high 22 points. The 6-foot-6 guard, a Eugene product and graduate transfer from Gonzaga, has scored in double figures four games in a row and is averaging 12.6 points through SOU's first five outings. He's also among the CCC's steals leaders at 1.8 per game.

ALEX HERNANDEZ / Men's Wrestler of the Week: Off to a 7-1 start in his first season with the Raiders, Hernandez keyed two dual victories last week as SOU upset No. 7-ranked Eastern Oregon, 21-18, and turned around to beat Corban, 28-6, a day later. Hernandez, wrestling at 174 pounds, knocked off EOU's No. 10-ranked Keegan Mulhill by 3-1 decision with a takedown in the final seconds. Against the Warriors, he held on for a 2-1 decision against Matthew Bartlett. The junior transfer from University of Arkansas at Little Rock owns a 3-0 dual record.

JOYE LEVENDUSKY / Women's Wrestler of the Week: Levendusky, another first-year Raider after transferring from McKendree (Ill.), was one of three SOU wrestlers to place third over the weekend at the Missouri Valley Open. Holding the NAIA's No. 3 ranking at 170 pounds, she went 6-1 at the tournament with two wins over No. 6 Liliana Vergara of Campbellsville (Ky.) and another over No. 5 Abby McIntyre of Grand View (Iowa). In the third-place match, she defeated Vergara 5-0.
