COMPLETE MEET RESULTS

ARCATA, Calif. – The Southern Oregon University track and field team logged 15 women's and eight men's Cascade Conference qualifying marks, and Molly Guerra became an automatic qualifier for the NAIA Outdoor Championships in the discus Saturday at the Humboldt Invitational.

Guerra, a junior from Grants Pass, topped a nine-person field in the discus with a throw of 151 feet 7 inches – just two inches short of the SOU record established by Nicole Robertson 22 years ago. The 'A' standard mark landed her at No. 2 on the NAIA performance list and was the best turned in by a CCC athlete this season.

The Raider women were prominent in the field, as KiAshe Hobby won the discus by meeting the NAIA 'B' standard for the second week in a row at 162-10. Andrea Osborn took first in the shot put at 38-0 ¼ and Malaika Quigley was first in the javelin at 121-7.

They produced two more winners in the running events: Aayzia Dumas in the 400 meters (59.34) and Erin Gibson in the 800 (2:17.04). Dumas was also the runner-up in the 200 (26.35).

The winners for the Raider men were Cody Le Bel in the pole vault (14-7 ¼), Wayne Garcia in the hammer (161-0) and Andrew Mitchell in the javelin (177-1). Mitchell placed second in a 13-person discus field (147-4) and Asher Tatsumi was seventh of 22 in the 1,500 (4:04.75).
