ASHLAND – Fourteen Southern Oregon University athletics programs earned NAIA Scholar Team status for the 2022-23 season, the national office announced.

To be considered a Scholar Team, a team's full roster must combine for a grade-point average of 3.0 or better during the academic calendar year. SOU also produced 54 NAIA Scholar Athletes – juniors or seniors with at least one full year at the institution and GPAs of 3.5 or better – in 2022-23.
