ASHLAND – Forty-five individuals from Southern Oregon University's fall sports teams were named NAIA Scholar Athletes on Wednesday, the national office announced.
The total was just four shy of the department's record-high for the season established last year. To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 and have attended their institution for at least one full year by the start of the fall.
