ASHLAND – Beginning this week, Southern Oregon University will offer all live-streamed home events free of charge after striking a four-year exclusive streaming-rights agreement with Urban Edge Network (UEN) as part of a Cascade Conference-wide move.
All CCC schools will move to a free model for streamed sports sanctioned by the conference, including basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball and wrestling. Starting in 2026, Raider football will also stream free on UEN.
Fans can watch live broadcasts by visiting UrbanEdgeNetwork.net or by downloading the UEN app on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung TV, iOS, Sony, and Philips Smart TVs.
"We are thrilled to be joining the UEN family," CCC commissioner Robert Cashell said. "It has long been a goal to have our content under a single platform for our fans to enjoy and to showcase the incredible talent among the over 3,000 student-athletes that make up the CCC. I want to thank Mr. Hardy Pelt and UEN for their creative approach in bringing great small college athletics to a worldwide audience while innovating the advertising space."
SOU's first live-streamed events on UEN are set for Thursday and Friday, when the Raider women's basketball team hosts the Raider Classic.
