ASHLAND – Southern Oregon women's wrestler Lillian Gradillas-Flores and soccer player Abby McKean were voted Cascade Conference McDonald's Athletes of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, on Monday afternoon.

Gradillas-Flores earned the first wrestling award of the season by opening her sophomore campaign with a tournament title Sunday at the Menlo Open. Currently the NAIA's No. 3-ranked individual at 180 pounds, the All-American wrestled up to 207 and went 4-0 with two pins and a technical fall.

The Raiders, ranked No. 9 in the NAIA preseason poll, produced eight additional placers.

McKean was named the CCC women's soccer offensive player of the week for the second time in the last month after a perfect weekend for the Raiders. In helping them improve to 13-2-1, the junior forward scored the game-winning goal on Friday at Warner Pacific and notched her second hat trick of the season on Sunday at Walla Walla (Wash.). She brought her goals total to 12, the third-highest in the team's single-season history.

McKean and the Raiders finished 10-1-1 in conference play to earn the No. 2 seed in the CCC Tournament. They'll open the postseason at 10 a.m. Saturday at Medford's Lithia & Driveway Fields with a quarterfinal game against No. 7 seed Northwest (Wash.).
