COMPLETE MEET RESULTS

EUGENE – The Southern Oregon University track and field team left the Titan Invite with three wins and five second-place finishes on Saturday at Lane Community College.

In the women's 1,500, SOU led a one-two punch with Alyssa Johnson (4:50.23) and Cammeo Ramirez (4:51.41) crossing the line first and second. In the 800, Johnson (2:26.84) was second and Ramirez (2:30.07) was fifth.

Abi Stevens finished first in the high jump, clearing 1.61 meters (5-03¼) and snagging a CCC qualifying mark. Stevens also posted CCC qualifying marks in the 100-meter hurdles (16.27), finishing second, and in the 200 (26.53), finishing fourth. In the javelin throw, she was seventh (30.51m/100-01)

Freshman Mason Moler beat out a field of 10 to win the 3,000 (9:10.01) in his collegiate track and field debut. Dominic Vaughn-Luma finished fifth (9:42.93).

In the sprints, Trey Lucas finished runner-up in the 400 (49.43) and Dylan Heath finished fifth (50.84) in a field of 26. In the 200, Lucas (22.83) was sixth and Heath (23.32) finished 10th.

Sophomore Mason Weisgerber claimed second in the 1,500 in 4:00.95. Rafe Blandini finished ninth in a personal best time of 4:13.95.

Ilyhia Greely took second in the discus (35.13m/115-03) and third in hammer (42.34m/138-11). Derrick Bennett finished eighth in discus (34.93m/114-07), 12th in hammer (38.17m/125-02), and 13th in shot put (10.50m/34-5½)

Rogue Newton posted a CCC qualifying time in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing third (1:00.56).

In the men's 5,000, freshmen Logan Huffman (15:42.88) and Danny Murua (16:41.87) both set personal bests.

The Raiders are back in action next weekend at the University of Oregon for the Oregon Preview.
