Southern Oregon University Athletics

Beverly Bennett taught and coached at the College from 1950-1984.  She started the school's competitive sports program for women in the late 1950's.  Bennett coached tennis, basketball, field hockey, volleyball, and track.  She was instrumental in organizing women's college leagues in the Northwest and she was also a nationally rated basketball and volleyball official.
