Southern Oregon University Athletics

Adams is the only four-time NAIA District II wrestling champion and three-year captain in Southern Oregon University history.  The two-time NAIA All-American was named the district's Outstanding Wrestler as a freshman in 1975-76 and led the team in takedowns in 1976-77.  As a junior in 1977-78, the 150-pound competitor led the team in victories, became only the fourth Raider to advance to the national championship bout, and was name Most Inspirational on the school's first national championship team.
