Joe Bold (1974-76) joined the Raiders for the latter part of his career and was the first individual in program history to compile multiple top-three finishes at the NAIA Championships. Competing at 142 pounds, he placed third at the 1975 national tournament and was the runner-up in '76. Bold was additionally a regional champion, attaining NAIA District II and Evergreen Conference titles both years.
