Southern Oregon University Athletics

Spike Gordon played football for SOC in 1961 and 1963-65.  In 1964 he broke six school and conference records, was selected as an Oregon Collegiate Conference player, and was named to the District II All-Star squad and to the Little All-Coast football team.  In 1965 Spike won the national NAIA pass receiving title and was named to the NAIA All-American football team, the NAIA District II all-star team and the UPI LIttle All-West Coast team.
