Hall of Fame
Paul Elliott served as head coach of the SOU volleyball program from 1991-2006, raising the program to a national level during those 16 seasons and finishing his SOU coaching career with a 381-166 overall record. As of his induction into the SOU Hall of Fame in 2011, Elliott's 381 wins ranked as the most in SOU and Cascade Collegiate Conference volleyball history. When he retired in 2006, he ranked 16th on the NAIA all-time victory list and seventh in career winning percentage (.697).
Elliott coached four conference championship teams and four NAIA regional championship teams and led the Raiders to the program's first four NAIA national tournament appearances (2001-04). During that run at the NAIA Tournament, the Raiders finished as high as ninth in 2001, 2002 and 2004. Elliott was named named conference or region coach of the year eight times and compiled nine straight 20-win seasons. Between 2001 and 2005, the Raiders went 105-29 and won 16 consecutive regional tournament matches. At SOU Elliott coached seven NAIA All-Americans, six academic All-Americans, five Cascade Conference MVPs, three regional MVPs and 38 conference all-stars.
