Southern Oregon University Athletics

John Schweiger's meritorious service and financial support over his 15 years as a Raider Club Board member and for his time as the club's President (1997-2004 and 2008-Present) has elevated him to the highest category of the Athletic Honor at Southern Oregon University. 

He presided over the most successful scholarship fund drives in history - he is the founder and longtime chairman of the club's scholarship auction committee - his efforts as President helped generate $1.5 million in financial aid for SOU student-athletes becoming SOU athletic department's first "Million Dollar Man."
