Southern Oregon University Athletics

Chuck DeAutremont was an All-Conference player in basketball, football, and baseball before he graduated from Southern Oregon in 1948.  That same year he was named to the All-American Small Colleges football team and signed to play professional football with the Los Angeles Rams.  DeAutremont played for the Raiders in 1948 when the team went to the NAIA basketball tournament in Kansas City.  He is a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame.
