Hall of Fame
In his 22 years of exemplary service to SOC, the late Dr. Ted Schopf coached baseball for 19 seasons, basketball for 17 seasons, and served as athletic director for nine years. Known as "Genial Ted," his baseball teams won four Oregon Collegiate Conference Championships and his basketball teams captured the 1948 NAI B District II Championship and played in three Far West Conference games. He was posthumously inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1970.
