Craig Long is the first person in school history to win three Oregon Collegiate Conference championships (1967-69) and two NAIA District II titles (1967, '69).  In 1969, his All-American season, the 177-pounder finished third at the NAIA Championships, the highest Raider finish up to that time, and his 26-2-1 overall record (.914) remained the best single-season winning percentage for 15 years.  As a 167-pound freshman, Long helped the team capture the 1966 OCC team championship, the school's first wrestling team title.  Including his efforts as a three-year starter at defensive back on the Raider football team, Long earned NAIA District II Athlete of the Year accolades in 1969, the first Raider ever to claim the award.
