Kris Ettner (1986-89) is the owner of one of eight individual NAIA titles in SOU women's track and field history. Ettner claimed her hardware in 1989 with a throw of 154 feet 1 inch, which made her just the fifth All-American and second champ in the program's history. Her personal best throw of 156-1 is third on SOU's list as of induction, and only three Raider women have become All-Americans in the discipline since. Ettner will be the 27th Raider representing track and field to enter the Hall individually and the eighth women's track and field athlete.
