Nicole Whitney, the most explosive scorer in SOU women's basketball history, racked up 1,251 points in just two seasons (1992-94). She set SOU single-season records in 1992-93 with 580 points and 21.5 per game before breaking those records with 671 points on 24 per game. As of induction, Whitney has five of the top-six spots on SOU's single-game scoring list, including a 51-point display that is also a Cascade Conference record. As a junior, Whitney earned All-CCC honors helped SOU to its first conference title. As a senior, she became SOU’s first league Player of the Year and earned All-American honors.
