Jack McWhorter, a versatile 6-foot-5 forward, was an All-Oregon Collegiate Conference selection every year of his playing career (1963-67), which made him Southern Oregon's first four-time all-conference men's basketball player. McWhorter finished up at No. 3 on SOU's career scoring list (1,452 points), ranks ninth as of induction and fourth on the career rebounding list (933). He picked up 49 of those points on Feb. 15, 1967 in a 90-86 win over George Fox, an individual performance that still stands as the program's highest single-game scoring output. On the side, he also lettered in tennis.
