With a crowd-pleasing hustle style, Dan Speasl, class of 1974, was an outstanding wrestler and SOSC's first ever 3-time All-American in the school's history in any sport.  He was a 3-time NAIA District II champion and was named Outstanding District II wrestler in 1974.  During his wrestling career, he was voted the team's most inspirational wrestler 2 years and was co-captain twice.  In 1985, Speasl was inducted into the NAIA District II Wrestling Hall of Fame.
