As the men's all-time career basketball scoring leader with 1,536 points, Hollingsworth participated between the years 1952-58 including two years of military service. He is the all-time single season leader in free throw attempts and free throws made (167-259) while equalling the third best men's all-time record for most points scored in a game with 45 vs Lewis and Clark. Hollingsworth was also the school record holder and Oregon Collegiate Conference champion in the pole vault at 12 feet while establishing the school record in the high jump at 6'5".
