Stan Smith played football for SOC from 1946-1949.  Referred to as "a booming right tackle," Stan played both offense and defense in every game for four years.  He received all-conference honors in 1947 and 1948, and honorable mention Little All-American.  Smith graduated from SOC in 1951, was inducted into the NAIA District II Hall of Fame in 1973, and is a charter member of the Medford Sports Hall of Fame.
